Polycarbonate resin is colorless andtransparent, heat resistant, shock resistant. It has good mechanical andoptical properties at ordinary service temperatures. Comparing with polymethylmethacrylate(PMMA), polycarbonate resin has good impact resistance, high refractive indexand good processing performance. Polycarbonate resin is resistant to weak acid,weak base, neutral oil, but not resistant to UV light and strong base.
